Today’s thought of the day is – smokey eye makeup! I LOVE the way it looks when it’s done right, especially the more subtle look on Diane, but if it’s not, it can be dreadful! That’s why I leave it to professionals, until I nail my own look 🙂
And the bad… come on ladies! Do you own a mirror? Fire that makeup artist, STAT!
Hope you all had a great weekend. 🙂
I am sure you are all aware of the importance a great eyebrow makes to the face – it can lift, remove years, and add instant polish. I was trolling the internet and realized how many bad eyebrows there are! So, I decided to make a post.
Here are some examples of admirable eyebrows! (PS – the natural look most likely won’t go out of style. That’s to you, Pamela Anderson).
And, of course. The BAD. Here are a few examples of what I think make poor eyebrows. Their identities have been protected for their safety. 🙂
And… the just plain wrong.
I just do not understand this look whatsoever.
What do you think? Any I missed (good or bad)?
Question of the day is.. How do you feel about blue eyeshadow? Outdated? Underrated?
Personally, I love it, though it can be overdone VERY easily. Maybe it’s just nostalgic for me… the first eyeshadow I ever wore was blue. As a pale wash, as a bold liner, in the crease for a little extra “oomph”, blue is just so versatile!
What do you think?
Question for ya – what is your best secret for keeping your skin clear?
Mine would have to be regular exercise. I notice that after I don’t get at least an hour of cardio a week, my skin starts to deteriorate. For some reason, sweating it out seems to beat my skin woes. I think it is probably due to the sweating cleaning my pores out, but also because of the stress release that exercise gives me.
Another one of mine is regular exfoliation. I exfoliate once a day, or sometimes every other day, and that has always been a quick way for me to get my skin cleared up fast. I recently starting using Burt’s Bee’s Citrus Scrub, and I love it. I used to use one by Clean and Clear, and that worked really well for me, but I decided to try seeing if going all natural would make more of a difference.
Any ideas? Suggestions? Let me know what your secrets are in the comments!
